4) Get a
pedometer. By attaching a pedometer to your side everyday
you can see how many steps you take and exactly how many calories you burned that day. Try to outdo yourself from day to day. It will make a difference.
5) Set a fixed time each
day. Choose an enjoyable and safe place to walk. Most
people enjoy walking trails in the woods or in a park. This provides the experience of fresh air and nature. If living in the city enjoy the
neighborhood architecture and gardens along the sidewalks and street you take.
6) Find a walking buddy, who might
also be interested to lose weight. This will help to keep you motivated and will make the time go by faster.

7) Get your iPod loaded with upbeat
music. This will help you increase your pace and give
