Arm Toning
Exercises
Most successful arm toning
exercises
As you probably already know, in order to get the sexiest looking
arms you need to add arm toning exercises to your exercise and workout routine. The following are
the top rated toning exercises you can find to help you get the sleek, lean look and to erase that
flab.
Bar Bell Bicep Curl
This style of exercise should
be the most important arm toning service that is in your regiment. It will let you implement heavy weights into
your routine. This exercise is seen as one of the most easiest to start out with. It breaks down as
follows:
a) Stand with your feet parallel with your shoulders. Make sure you have a firm grip
on the bar bell while you are lifting it up to your chest.
b) Remember to keep you back straight as you lift the weight up to your
chest.
c) Keep your pectoral muscle in mind when you curl the bar bell, you want to make
your curl just slightly above that muscle.
d) With elbows to your side, raise bar until forearms are completely vertical to your
bicep, then lower until arms are fully extended. Then repeat.
e) For the maximum results you MUST lower the bar bell down slowly. Do not move your
elbows during this arm toning exercise. Instead, keep them solidly next to your side.
f) Remember to inhale as you go up and to exhale as you go down.

Alternate Dumb Bell Curl
A second easy toning
technique is to alternate dumb bell curls. By alternating the curls it lets you concentrate on one extremity at
a time. In doing this you may be able to add extra weight allowing you to intensify your toning. It works as
follows:
a) Hold dumbbells with your back straight. Using the same position as with the
regular bar bell curl.
b) Stand erect with your feet parallel to your shoulders and curl one dumb bell to
your shoulder like you are trying to curl it all the way past your shoulder. By doing this, you will get a tighter
contraction.
c) Keep palms up while lowering until past your thighs, then turn palms in. Keep
upper arms close to the sides and concentrate on bicep’s while lowering and rising.
d) On the way down, slowly lower the weight as you rotate it into a resting position
by your side. Alternate left & right arms. Do this toning exercise with great slow control for optimal
results.
e) Remember your breathing.
Skull Crushers
The last arm toning exercise
offered is called a skull crusher. This toning technique focuses on the triceps area. When this exercise is done
correctly, you will quickly start to see results. But be warned; if you are not careful, you could injure
yourself so be aware of how you handle this toning exercise.
a) Select an appropriate weight and lie on your back either on a bench or on a floor
mat.
b) With a firm grip on the weight lift the weight over your head while keeping your
palms up.
c) Maneuver the weight of the bell bar to the back as if you were positioning it to
place it behind your head.
d) The triceps muscles should be pointing behind you, not parallel to the floor. Then
lift your weight up making your arm straight.
e) Lower the weight slowly until you feel a deep stretch. Do not over stretch your
muscle.
